Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation

The center offers expertise in treating adult patients with liver failure requiring liver transplantation, and also provides comprehensive multidisciplinary team management of other complex hepatobiliary disorders, such as liver tumors, Hepatitis C, biliary strictures, and portal hypertension. A dedicated in-patient unit provides standardized pre- and post-transplant care.

Cochlear Implant Center of New Jersey

The Cochlear Implant Center offers innovative treatment for children and adults with severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss and provides expert medical care for those who receive little or no benefit from traditional hearing aids. The center is located in the Audiology Department at the Ambulatory Care Center.

Heart Healthy Program

The Healthy Heart Program at University Hospital helps heart failure patients manage their care at home, with the goal of minimizing hospitalizations. A multidisciplinary team helps each patient live a heart-healthy lifestyle by incorporating a healthy diet, regular exercise, behavioral changes, and a regimen of medication. Patients have independence while improving their quality of life.

Infectious Diseases Practice

Evaluate, manage, and treat patients diagnosed with infectious diseases including hepatitis infections (B and C), HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) transplant or surgery-related infections, and overseas acquired parasitic or malarial infections as well as other infectious diseases.

Pain Management Clinic

The clinic employs an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life for those living with chronic pain. Our team’s focus is on treating pain that has been resistant to conservative treatment using pharmacologic measures and interventional procedures.

Surgical Specialty Clinic

The surgical specialities clinic treat all age groups, from birth through geriatrics. The clinics include plastic, trauma, breast, surgical oncology, vascular, general surgery, and urology practices. Common diagnoses treated in these practices range from breast mass, burns, cancer, hernia, trauma-related injuries, gallbladder surgery, plastic surgery, prostate carcinoma, testicular mass, renal calculi, and kidney mass.

Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Particular expertise in minimally invasive reconstructive procedures for arterial insufficiency of the extremities, endovascular treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysm, and comprehensive surgical and interventional treatment of carotid arterial disease for the prevention of stroke.

Secure, convenient patient parking is available at a 1,000-car garage located adjacent to the Doctors Office Center, which is next to the Ambulatory Care Center.
