If you are looking for a possible alternative to surgery and/or pain medication, consider a physical therapist. We provide patients, clients, and participants with physical therapy, health and wellness education, and referral to community resources. Areas we can help with include:

  • back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain;
  • overuse injuries, work-related injuries;
  • stroke, diabetes; and
  • sprains, strains, and fractures.

The center provides family-centered care for HIV, infectious diseases, and immunologic disorders. Working to eliminate health disparities by promoting self-care and shared decision-making, the center also supports clients and families navigating complex health care systems by offering interdisciplinary health care, coordinated medical case management services, and community outreach and education.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Metered parking is available in Lot 9 located across the street from the Stanley S. Bergen Building, and in Lot 1 located near 183 South Orange Avenue.

Self-parking is available at the Doctors Office Center parking garage, located on 12th Avenue and Bergen Street. Hourly rates apply.

PATH and Amtrak rail lines, and New Jersey Transit buses and trains serve Newark Penn Station in downtown Newark, about a mile from the Stanley S. Bergen Jr. Building.
