Overview

University Behavioral Health Care is an academically based behavioral health care practice that offers a broad range of services throughout New Jersey. We provide evidence-based and compassionate behavioral health care and addiction services to individuals and families across the state.

Children At Risk Resources and Intervention Program (CARRI)

We offer supportive counseling and education services to parents referred by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, Division of Child Protection and Permanency. Our program provides psycho-educational and cognitive behavioral approaches to develop parent/child environments that minimize risk factors and maximize protective factors.

Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services

We provide immediate crisis response on-site and coordinate subsequent stabilization services to ensure the safety and well being of children, youth, and their families and caregivers who are facing crisis situations as a result of escalating risk behaviors that may disrupt a child or youth's current living arrangements.

Homeless Case Management (PATH)

The Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) provides outreach and assistance to mentally ill individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our program aims to support independent living skills and optimize success in community settings. 

Integrated Case Management Services

Our program offers personalized, collaborative, and flexible support to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness. Our goal is to decrease the need for re-hospitalization and help individuals lead productive lives.

  • Referrals for mental health and medical treatment, social entitlement programs, and vocational and educational programs

We have plenty of free, general parking. All visitors must enter from our main entrance, which is located in the back of the building. 

As a point of reference, the Radisson Hotel is located behind our building.
