Dr. Wong is a plastic surgeon, NIH-funded scientist, & educator. He has specialized training and over a
decade of experience with microsurgical reconstruction of defects and complex wounds that result from a
variety of etiologies but especially cancer treatment. Dr. Wong has broad clinical expertise and his current
practice is focused on complex breast, lymphatic, and sarcoma reconstruction. Dr. Wong's clinical practice
has a significant influence on the theme of his research program which can be unified by his interest in
fundamental aspects of tissue regeneration. The Wong laboratory investigates therapies to stimulate: 1)
