Dr. Atlas is board certified in anesthesiology and has received voluntarily recertification as well. He is also a full professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and is an adjunct clinical professor in the Department of Chemistry, Chemical Biology and Biomedical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr. Atlas is also an adjunct member of the graduate faculty at Rutgers University Department of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Atlas currently has several patents pending and is the author of over 80 peer-reviewed publications. His research work is primarily in engineering and applied mathematics involving anesthesia and related areas. Dr. Atlas is on the editorial board of Anesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology and has been a reviewer for Journal of Clinical Anesthesia as well as other journals.
