Laura Pachella

I have always had a passion for oncology nursing and am so proud to be practicing in my home state of New Jersey. 

My nursing career started after obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey at the bedside infusing chemotherapy and managing acute side effects of treatment. The resilience in the patients and my interest in learning more about cancer led me to completing my Master's in Nursing from Columbia University to become a nurse practitioner with a specialty in oncology nursing.

I was fortunate to complete a fellowship in oncology nursing at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. I stayed on after my training to work there for several years while also completing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Duke University. 

I am a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and value my patient interactions and what I learn in the clinic each day from my colleagues.

Our Advanced Practice Providers work in collaboration with the physicians in their respective oncology programs and may not always be scheduled directly.
