Provider Biography
Dr. Chinn is an assistant professor in the department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers ? New
Jersey Medical School. Dr. Chinn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Rutgers
College in 2000 and went on to earn his medical degree at the New Jersey Medical School in
2004. Dr. Chinn completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University
Hospital in 2005. He continued his post doctoral residency training in Anesthesiology at
University Hospital here in Newark, NJ. He is a diplomat of the American Board of
Anesthesiology. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Chinn serves as the Director
of the Anesthesiology clerkship for medical students. He is also an active member of the
Careers in Medicine program under the leadership of Dr. James Hill and Dr. Christine
Gerula. In these roles, Dr Chinn helps guide medical students in their desired career
choices.
