Mohammed Jaloudi

I am thrilled to be back in my home state of New Jersey working as an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.  Prior to this appointment, I was Director of Medical Oncology at the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute since 2017. Prior to that from February 2006 until August of 2017, I was Chairman of the Oncology Department at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, United Arab Emerites (UAE). 

Having worked in New York City during the beginning of my career, taking on a challenging role in the UAE was more rewarding than I could have imagined. As the world has become more intertwined and closer than ever before, one realizes that we are more similar than we think.   Medicine is no different, though ethnic and cultural variations may exist. My area of interest has been in solid tumors with an emphasis on breast cancer. Having been instrumental in initiating collaborative groups and trials throughout the Middle East and Africa, I am hopeful this collaboration will continue across continents.
