I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who cares for women with breast and gynecological cancers such as breast, cervical, endometrial, ovarian and vulvar cancers. I have a primary focus in genetic mutations, risk reduction for patients who are at high risk for cancers and survivorship. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized, comprehensive care to patients during all stages of treatment, including diagnosis, surgery, radiation, systemic therapy and survivorship. I received my Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Vermont and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. I have worked in oncology as a nurse practitioner since August 2013 first working in Maryland before moving to New Jersey. I started my career as a floor nurse in Massachusetts working in hospice along with medical oncology and surgical oncology. Prior to working as an oncology nurse practitioner, I worked in primary care with a focus on women’s health. Teaching residents gynecological and breast exams. Since being in oncology I have achieved my Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AONCP) certification in 2016. I also achieved the Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment Certification (CGRA). I have worked on several quality projects and have presented my work at conferences such as American Society of Clinical Oncology-quality, Oncology Nursing Society and National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers. I am an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nursing Society and National Breast Cancer Coalition.
I am dedicated to meeting the needs of women with breast and pelvic malignancies along with monitoring those at increased risk of developing them. Working collaboratively to provide optimum care.
