- Surgical Oncologist, Clinical Instructor
- Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
After training in general surgery at George Washing University Hospital in Washington D.C., I completed a 2-year fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Rutgers Cancer Institute. I am board certified in both general surgery and surgical oncology and chose to stay in New Jersey to help deliver advanced surgical oncologic care to the people of Monmouth and Ocean counties. My expertise ranges from cancers of the skin and soft tissues (i.e. melanoma, sarcoma) to gastrointestinal malignancies (i.e. colorectal, gastric), and hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers (i.e. liver, pancreas). The treatment of cancer is a team effort and with any team, communication is key. My role is to coordinate with gastroenterology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology to provide the highest quality care for my patients utilizing the latest techniques and treatment strategies available. Most of the patients I see are going through one of the toughest ordeals in their life and anything I can do to put their minds at ease and facilitate the management of their care goes a long way towards improving the patient experience and promoting well-being.
