Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, together known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), are complex inflammatory diseases of the intestines that affect tens of thousands of patients in New Jersey and three million across the United States. The Rutgers Health Crohn’s and Colitis Center of New Jersey provides comprehensive, compassionate care for patients with these challenging conditions. 

The Rutgers Health Crohn’s and Colitis Center of New Jersey uses life-changing diagnostic and endoscopic methods along with patient education to provide IBD patients with the best chance of disease remission. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who are experts in colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal pathology, radiology, psychiatry, and nutrition.
