The Rutgers Health Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery practice treats patients for female pelvic floor disorders. These disorders include bladder problems such as infections, dropped bladder, and stress and urgency incontinence. We also treat uterine and vaginal vault prolapse.

Our practice performs physical exams and urodynamic testing to diagnose urinary tract and pelvic disorders. Our physicians seek nonsurgical options for most patients, in hopes of controlling problems with medications, pessary supports for pelvic organ prolapse, or physical therapy. However, our doctors also perform surgery as necessary.
