Adult Joint Replacement and Reconstruction

The Rutgers Health Adult Joint Replacement and Reconstruction program specializes in treating arthritic conditions of the hip and knee joints, and places strong emphasis on patient education.

The practice initially explores nonoperative treatments for arthritis. If these treatments prove ineffective, our physicians perform partial and total joint replacements of the knee, and total joint replacement of the hip. The practice also offers expertise in revision surgery for the treatment of joint infection, fracture, implant loosening, and joint instability.

Physicians who serve the program are on the faculty of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, a part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. Our doctors are active in research and teach about all aspects of joint replacement and reconstruction. Each brings life-changing knowledge from the classroom to the exam room.

If you or a loved one is having problems with arthritic conditions of the hip or knee joints, please make an appointment with the Rutgers Health Adult Joint Replacement and Reconstruction practice.
