Pediatric Cardiology
Rutgers Health Pediatric Cardiology program has board-certified pediatric cardiologists and specialized staff that focus on the care, treatment, and management of congenital heart disease in the prenatal, infant, childhood, adolescent, and young adult stages of life. The tests and services we provide our patients include:
- Echocardiogram (a test of the heart’s action using ultrasound waves)
- Electrocardiography (ECG, which records electrical activity of the heart over time using electrodes placed on the skin)
- Fetal ECG
- Holter monitoring (a portable device for cardiac monitoring)
- Stress testing
Physicians who serve our program are on the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. Our doctors are active in research and in teaching about all aspects of pediatric cardiology, and each brings leading-edge knowledge from the classroom to the exam room.
If you are the parent of a child who was born with heart disease, please make an appointment with the Rutgers Health Pediatric Cardiology program today.
