Innovations in Bloodless Surgery and Medicine Program
The Rutgers Health Innovations in Bloodless Surgery and Medicine program provides care for patients who, for religious or other reasons, seek treatment that does not include blood transfusions. It offers bloodless techniques in every surgical and medical specialty. The program has particular interest in bloodless surgery and medical care, and erythropoietin (EPO) therapy, which helps stimulate the production of red blood cells.
Physicians who serve the center are active in teaching and research. Our doctors are on the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. Each brings leading-edge knowledge from the classroom to the exam room.
If you are seeking treatment through bloodless surgery or medicine, please contact the Rutgers Health Innovations in Bloodless Surgery and Medicine program for an appointment.
