Dementia Clinic
The Rutgers Health Dementia Clinic operates in collaboration with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) to evaluate patients with cognitive impairments. We treat patients with brain diseases and conditions that have an association with dementia, including:
- Alzheimer's disease
- Stroke
- Traumatic brain injuries
The clinic has a staff of professionals, including social workers from the UBHC Comprehensive Services on Aging (COPSA) program. COPSA professionals evaluate and facilitate social support and referrals for services throughout central New Jersey.
Physicians who serve our clinic are on the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. Many are active in research and teach about all aspects of dementia. Each brings life-changing knowledge from the classroom to the exam room.
