Samuel L. Baily Huntington's Disease Family Service Center

Health professionals from Rutgers Health staff the Samuel L. Baily Huntington's Disease Family Service Center to meet the medical, psychiatric, genetic counseling, and case management needs of patients and families with Huntington's disease. The staff includes psychiatrists, neurologists, geneticists, and social workers to provide comprehensive treatment and assist families with care in alternative settings.

The center has support from the New Jersey Department of Health and has locations in Newark, Piscataway, and Stratford, New Jersey. It provides individual, family, and group counseling along with regional support groups.

Physicians who serve the center are on the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School or Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Both are part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. Many are active in research and teach about all aspects of Huntington’s disease.
