Musculoskeletal Imaging
Rutgers Health’s Musculoskeletal Radiology offers subspecialized diagnostic and therapeutic care across a broad array of clinical services. We offer a full complement of imaging services utilizing x-ray, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound (US).
Our physicians are subspecialty trained in the field and have expertise in diagnosis and the imaging management of common conditions such as:
- Benign and malignant conditions of bone and soft tissues
- Degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis)
- Inflammatory joint disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis)
- Musculoskeletal trauma
- Sport medicine
We also offer image-guided, minimally invasive treatments of common joint conditions and other conditions of the musculoskeletal system. By using these methods, we maximize patient care and comfort, while guaranteeing therapies are delivered to their optimal location.
Our doctors take part in multidisciplinary conferences within the hospital and work closely with colleagues in orthopedics, podiatry, rheumatology, oncology and throughout Rutgers to direct and assist in patient care.
