Rutgers Health Radiology’s division of Nuclear Medicine thrives on innovation. Equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, which includes PET/CT, gamma camera imaging systems, SPECT and dedicated thyroid probe, our providers offer a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and serve as an important health care and education resource.
Our doctors are on the faculty of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, part of Rutgers University, one of the top research institutions in America. We provide a wide variety of pediatric and adult nuclear medicine examinations, including:
- All nuclear cardiology studies
- Bone scan
- Brain perfusion scans
- Emergency nuclear studies such as brain flow, gastrointestinal bleeding scan, ventilation/perfusion lung scans and hepatobiliary scans
- Gastrointestinal motility studies
- Inflammation/infection imaging
