Provider Biography
Dr. Gerula earned her Bachelor of Science in 1992 from New Jersey Institute of Technology majoring
in Chemical Engineering, and her Medical Degree from UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School in
1996. She completed her internship and residency training at New Jersey Medical School and
remained at the institution to complete her cardiology fellowship in 2002.
She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Echocardiography.
She has been faculty since 2002 and currently serves as the Program Director for the Cardiovascular
fellowship and is also the Course Director for the Cardiology Organ system course for first year
medical students,
