Dr. Sheikh is one of our new trauma and critical care surgeons in the Department of Surgery. She is an RBHS Instructor in the Division of Trauma and Critical Care Surgery and an Attending at University Hospital (UH). As a surgery resident, Dr. Sheikh trained at multiple institutions including Mayo Clinic Arizona, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, and graduated from the general surgery program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She also completed a two-year research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Most recently, she was a surgical critical care fellow at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine in Honolulu, HI.
