Serves as the Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. Completed Cardiovascular Research Fellowship as well as Cardiology Fellowship at Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School and subsequently completed subspecialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. After completing fellowship, worked as an Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Cardiologist at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio prior to joining Rutgers, NJMS. Actively participate in several international, national and local clinical trials involving heart failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support. Have several publications in high profile journals and committed to academic cardiology including teaching and performing research. Perform right heart catheterizations, heart biopsies, cardiopulmonary stress tests, and echocardiography.
