Dr. Greenstein is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He graduated from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Medicine at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and additional fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at Winthrop University Medical Center. Dr. Greenstein has expertise in critical care ultrasonography. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians Critical Care Ultrasonography Working Group and serves as teaching faculty for ACCP?s Critical Care Ultrasonography training programs. He is also trained in advanced critical care echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, intraosseous cannulation, advanced bronchoscopic techniques, placement of intrapleural catheters, and percutaneous tracheostomy. Dr. Greenstein also practices sleep medicine and is skilled in treating a wide variety of sleep disorders in adults and children. Dr. Greenstein has particular interest in using simulation to train physicians in high-risk, low frequency situations. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and has multiple publications and book chapters related to this work.
