Dr. Ziad Sifri is a Professor and the Chief for the Division of Trauma. He is also the Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and the Director for the Office of Global Health. Dr. Sifri grew up in Beirut. He experienced tragedy at a young age and therefore, impacted his life in wanting to be involved in humanitarian efforts. The need to help others influenced Dr. Sifri to attend medical school. Dr. Sifri became interested in Trauma surgery because he wanted to help patients in life-threatening situations.
